Tempe Chamber & the City of Tempe are hosting the State of the City Address. I was asked to design the postcard invite and b&w ad that will run in the Tempe Republic and Arizona Republic. Visit tempechamber.org to find out more about the event.

shanenataliebrownpost

Shane is an administrator at the high school in Iowa where I graduated. We originally began talking about the possibilities of his website at my sister’s rainy softball game. A few months went by and we connected again to get down to business. Shane and his wife, Natalie had just recorded a new album with some big name Country music producers and were looking for a way to get their music out to the world. I was happy to help them out and wish them much success. Check out Shane and Natalie Brown – Country Gospel Music Ministry for the final site.

hallowedgroundpost

The initial conversation about Hallowed Ground Ministries took place late at night on Facebook. I was new to Facebook and was weighing the pros and cons of having an account and this definitely justified it. Even though Co-Founder, Brian Smith and I have been friends for quite a few years, he wasn’t aware of my work or my skills. After showing him a couple links, he was sold. If someone was going to be building him a website, it would be me. I was happy to work with everyone at Hallowed Ground Ministries and it was a fun project for me. It was a change of pace for me and my clean style of design (at least I think that’s what I have). It gave me a chance to take on my dirtier, grungy side and I loved every second of it. Head over to Hallowed Ground Ministries to check out the final site.

laceimagepost

Lace Image originally contacted me about redesigning their site in the summer of 2008. Nothing ever came about those initial conversations until I got engaged and needed a wedding photographer. As my bride to be and I were trying to cut costs, I decided to barter services with Lace. I don’t think it could have worked out better. We got excellent pictures that we’re so happy with and she got a site that satisfied her needs. Thanks again, Lace.

flexpost

Flex is a mobile platform for financial services.

This was a fun and challenging logo. I was doing about 5 other sport logos at the time and this one certainly has that look. Everyone was very happy with the result. There are also a couple other variants of this logo, one for Flex Mobile, Flex Wireless & Flex EFT.

Lingerie Bowl VI logo

This was a recreation of a logo previously developed for a TV graphic. I had to reference the existing image and build it from scratch using a little bit of Illustrator, Maya, Photoshop and good old hand painting. The logo was never used as Lingerie Bowl VI was canceled.

LFL Shop

This was my first shopping cart experience ever, believe it or not. I was in charge of all artwork on the site and the development of the site in Volusion was handled by an expert. We went from concept to completion in less than 2 weeks and ended up launching it on Thanksgiving. My turkey was a bit cold…

Tempe Chamber Monthly Postcard

Tempe Chamber is my longest standing client, I’ve been working with them for over 3 years (crazy!!). They recently went through a digital transition with a lot of their marketing materials. Instead of doing a printed monthly newsletter, they wanted to send out a mailer describing their upcoming events. I turned up the funk and went a little wild with this one (compared to many of their pieces). I wanted to be sure that anyone who got this in the mail, wouldn’t just throw it away without at least glancing at it. I think I did my job!

Baseball at the Park Logo

This is one of my favorite pieces in my portfolio. It is easily the most thorough and detailed logo I’ve done to date. I went through at least a dozen revisions, just to get it to this point.

Baseball at the Park Website

This website is for an MLB pre- and post-game show. It included a star studded cast and a great concept but didn’t get picked up for the 2009 season. Big Studios in Toronto did the amazing graphics on the home page.
